RCVS Hospital Status

Clare Vet Group has recently been inspected and approved by the RCVS practice standards scheme. We are pleased to announce that we have achieved Hospital Status in our small animal clinic at Ballyclare.

We are delighted to have achieved this accreditation, currently there are only 3 Veterinary Practices in Northern Ireland that have achieved hospital status and we are proud to be one of them.

The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) is the regulatory body for veterinary surgeons in the United Kingdom and ensures that standards within the veterinary profession are maintained, safeguarding the health and welfare of animals and the interests of the public.

What does this mean for you?

Not all Veterinary Surgeons have signed up to this scheme, but we feel that by doing so we are enhancing our commitment to you and your animal, to provide you both with the best possible Veterinary care.

What does this mean for us?

We have to provide an open, clear and comprehensive level of service. We are commited to providing the best standard of care while endeavouring to maintain the quality of our service to the highest possible level.

We aim to provide the latest most relevant equipment for our clinics and ensure our vets are constantly up to date with new and current veterinary techniques.

We feel that by opening our doors to the RCVS we can ensure confidence in the quality and level of service that we provide.
