At our General Health Clinic our qualified nurses can give advice on a wide range of topics. These include:
- vaccination
- worming
- fleas
- neutering
- insurance
- feeding & diet
- training
- behaviour
Regular health checks are normally carried out by your vet at annual vaccination, but if you feel you would like any advice about the above topics, make an appointment to see one our nurses.
For older pets we would recommend 4-monthly check ups and for those on permanent medication a check up at least every 6 months, accompanied by a routine blood test.
These check ups are important so that we can monitor your pet's health and detect any signs of degenerative disease and advise you on how best to keep your pet fit and healthy.
If your pet has not been checked by a veterinary surgeon for more than a year we would strongly recommend that you book it in for a check up.
