Karen is based primarily at the Whiteabbey and Cavehill branches and has been working with Clare Vet Group for over five years. In 2022, she completed an Animal Nursing course at CAFRE with outstanding results and was honoured to be named ANA Student of the Year.
Karen has always had a deep love for animals and has rescued a variety of species over the years—including iguanas, a snake, ducks, and even a goose. At home, she shares her life with two beloved Labradors, Monty (15) and Molly (8), as well as her rescue cat, Miss Yuumi, who now happily rules the household.
She is passionate about creating positive experiences for pets and their owners. One of her favourite parts of the job is seeing nervous animals grow in confidence—especially when a once-timid dog comes running in for a treat and a cuddle.
