Louise started at Clare Vet Group in 2012 as a kennel assistant. They progressed onto training for veterinary nursing exams and qualified as an RVN from Greenmount College in 2018. Since then, Louise has completed an additional Certificate in Nurse Consults in 2024 and is currently working towards a Consulting Nurse Diploma.
Their favourite part of the role is Nurse Consults. They enjoy helping owners and their pets with a variety of problems and are passionate about making each patient’s visit a positive one, working towards fear-free clinics.
When not at work, Louise is usually outdoors—birdwatching, walking, gardening, and cold-water swimming. They have two dogs, a cat, and a few pet chickens at home that keep them busy in their spare time.
